Floyd Mayweather Jr dares Cotto and Canelo to fight on the same date

It has probably already been saying but this is a decision for Showtime, not Mayweather. Floyd thinks he's untouchable with his numbers, he's deluded if that's the case.

both fights will suffer if they go on the same date that's for sure. no promoter, or hbo/showtime, in his right mind would risk losing money just to satisfy some fighter's ego that he's the better ppv attraction than any other fighters.

They are not fighting on the same date regardless of who's Floyd is fighting. Canelo/Cotto def won't be at the MGM Grand or any other MGM property on that date. So that leaves the Cosmo or Thomas and Mack. They would need to hope Floyd chose Barclays which we won't since they are in a pissing contest. Cotto is not in the business of caving into Canelos demands anyways. To many smart people in all the camps to know a head to head PPV is beyond ****** regardless of bad blood.

But the NY venues (Barclays and Garden) can offset the tax structure with their bids. The Barclay's particularly have done this already, even with their bids for Mayweather vs. Maidana 1 and 2.

Cotto is unlikely to agree to fight in a Mexican heavy venue ON A MEXICAN HOLIDAY, and Canelo will be reluctant to agree to fight in a Puerto Rican heavy venue. This fight is going to be quite challenging to negotiate. Like I said, a lot of you are in for a rude awakening when Cotto sets everyone straight.

Cotto is a Free Agent and no longer has to bounce to the tune of Arum. You think it's all about the money? Why didn't Cotto fight Martinez in Vegas? Why wasn't Cotto vs. Margarito 2 in Vegas?

To convince Cotto to do Vegas, Canelo will have to take a small purse, something crazy like 20%. And even then, I doubt Cotto agrees. Cotto will soon teach you and others just how he operates when he claims he's the A-Side to this fight.
