The Way Cotto acted after losing to Mayweather and Trout, by not wanting to do post fight interview I thought the first fight, Mayweather okay, Then when I saw him do that with Trout, I thought it was a race thing cause he lost to 2 african american fighters and all of a sudden doesn't want to do a post fight. Now My favorite fighter AB, He blew off a post fight after getting beat, But it was his first loss and I understood that. If AB blows off another post fight interview, He will probably lose my respect.

He skipped the interview because he felt disrespected by the score cards. Many believed both fights should have been closer. He did interviews for both Pac and margaritto after being bludgeoned I think Cottos character should not be questioned. However your boy AB didn't do an interview because he got destroyed and didn't know how to handle it, all his brash talk was no help. I'm a fan of AB and I have no problem saying he's full of schit. Sound like blabber to justify your agenda.

IMO this fight's best chances for happening are in June. I still am not at all sold on them trying to put it in Vegas in the first week of May. That would be a huge mistake for Golden Boy Promotions if they EVER want to work with Showtime again. Also, the MGM is not going to go against Floyd's wishes; that's become his home, and there's no way they are going to throw away that association with him. Sure, it sounds nice hearing De La Hoya talk about how Canelo should get that date, but it's not going to happen people. Both sides would be shooting themselves in the foot by putting on head-to-head PPVs. May and Sept belong to Floyd until he retires.

All you guys talk about May 5th weekend like it's some magical day. That day is pushed by the beer brands because that weekend is when those companies hit there highest sales. Who's name is big in bold across the ring come fight night? Use to be bud wiser now it's tecate, so it's only natural that big fights would happen on that day. I always thought Easter weekend would be the best day for a fight. Really think about that, most people are home, if the fight is promoted right it would sale huge.

Team Canelo's only effective response I see to team Cotto's arrogance is to start talking to Golovkin's team and forget Cotto. This is what happens when you don't have an alternative viable opponent.

Canelo will take the fight or Cotto can walk to fight someone like Gennady Golovkin or even Floyd Mayweather in a rematch. I agree! With Mayweather now having a license in NY, and the Barclay's begging him to fight, I could see a Mayweather vs. Cotto rematch with both of them co-promoting, and making a killing. Don't get it twisted though, Canelo is who Cotto wants, but he can use Mayweather as leverage.
