how is it not a legit excuse when they brought in a extra dr to the ring to check his eye out and were looking for anything to stop the fight and like always Cotto piss poor stamina was failing him. Margs had a good shot to get to Cotto at the end but they stop the figth beacues of his eye Margs will die in that ring unlike Cotto

I'm a big cotto fan but I didn't like how he looked in the last round, he was moving alot and had nothing for tony. However, these "what ifs" are impossible to debate because no one can make a legitimate argument about what would have happened. Tony's a horrible style for cotto though, or anyone for that matter.

Cott was starting to fade and margarito was gaining momentum when the fight was stopped.. It's very reasonable to think margs could make a comeback in 10,11,12. I do think cotto would be able to survive the late surge and eke out a majority decision.. Margs had slowed down a lot since their first fight
