Exactly. Notice the pattern though? There is always an excuse when their side loses. Morales was too old... Martinez was shot...Marquez was too little...Shane was on EPO...The ref saved Cotto...Vargas was rushed... it gets hilarious.

how is it not a legit excuse when they brought in a extra dr to the ring to check his eye out and were looking for anything to stop the fight and like always Cotto piss poor stamina was failing him. Margs had a good shot to get to Cotto at the end but they stop the figth beacues of his eye Margs will die in that ring unlike Cotto

Cotto had a much better gameplan and corrected some mistakes from the previous fight. On top of the beatings Margarito suffered, don't know if Margarito would of won the rematch to be honest.

I think Margarito would have ran out of time regardless. I agree with most of the other posts that Cotto fought better and that Margarito did not has the same vitliaty he had previously - he was bigger but didn't have that bounce in his step. He had Cotto going a little at the very end, but it didn't feel like the fight had been building to that point like in the first one. Plus he didn't have the classic mullet thing from the first fight...that must count for something.
