I've never seen an unconscious man trying to get up... I'm not discrediting Povetkin's win at all. I'm just saying the ref should have given him a chance to beat the count.

Man, it was similar to George Groves. He was out too before coming to his senses. It wasn't safe to let either man go on.

We've all seen bad stoppages, this wasn't one of them.

You have a point... although it looked like Takam had no complaints whatsoever... I think that was as legit a KO you can get.

First the ref would have to warn him and take points, i don't know if he would have held as much after being deducted points and with the ref threatening to disqualify him.

Just beautiful how he set up that left hook off the straight right... Beautiful...

Povetkin, Pulev, and Stiverne are up for who is second best in the division.

Takam was a legit top 5-8 guy in the division.

Damn think of all the fights between the following: Povetkin, Pulev, Fury, Wilder, Stiverne, By-BY Jennings, Glazkov, Solis, Chisora, Cunningham, Price, Arreola, Mike Perez, Anthony Joshua... Even Lucas Browne could be in the mix with his power. ANd I'm sure I left out some up and coming prospects too.
