It wasn't just the holding though, it was the throwing. He seemed to think it was cool to manhandle Povetkin around the ring. It wasn't boxing.Comment

His eyes were probably rolling in the back of his head when he first went to the floor, he went down incredibly hard. Wouldn't be surprised if it was hitting the canvas that woke him upComment

Heh, this is my personal favorite of macabre refs who just like to make themselves laugh over a downed boxer:
I'll be damned if his trainer isn't proud, though. Kept on pumping that jab out!
Haha do you think he was actually still in a fight in his sleep? Like he was having a dream about being in a boxing match?Comment

SMH !
Great card huh,Dan.Chakhkiev back to his destructive best.aside from EBU sanctioning was anyone else sanctioning ?
This is the best fight in the division not involving Klitschko,if Pulev loses to Wladimir I doubt Sacsha goes anywhere near him though,he was struggling against the reach of Takam last night.Comment

Forget Klitschko and imagine the division,Povetkin is no.1 with a lot of competiton.
Wladimir even at 38 is light years ahead of everyone else, not that i dont think he isnt as good as previous ATG's either,he is simply too good.I think he would have set benchmarks in previous eras too.
All three wont be matched against each other for the foreseeable,Ryabinsky states they want each to acquire a belt before potential match ups,I presume to have a card with the most legit champions on thus breaking some sort of record.he wants Moscow to be recognised as the Mecca of boxing,I guess he has beef with the EU and Germany's heavyweight boxing status haha.
We see how slow Rakhim looks against Usyk,if Usyk wants a strap at some point he may very well have to go through The Machine.Comment
