By virtue of opposition yes, if people clamour for a unification bout between povetkin and klitschko, NO!!!!!!!!!

Povetkin vs Klitschko was disgusting. I would rather see Briggs vs Klitschko than povetkin vs klitschko, at least Briggs Klitschko would end early. But Wladimir had some high praise for Deontay a while back.

Povetkin was ahead on one card with the other two tied 76-76 after 8.

The first 8 rounds were close. I had it 76-76 after 8. Povetkin had some trouble adjusting to Takam's long arms and was getting hit as often as he hit Takam.

But Povetkin threw more combinations in the 9th and 10th, and dominated.
Yes that what it seemed, again with the little i was able to catch.

Overall good win for the whole Heavyweight division some good fights to made with povetkin would like to see Povetkin with Fury, wilder, stiverne,Jennings. I dont want to see another Klitschko fight it will again end in another boring Klitschko win.

Legit knockdown but I didn't like the stoppage. Povetkin was on his way to winning anyway but let the fighter get up, let him walk, then stop the fight if he's unable to continue. A boxer staying on the canvas is not enough to stop it, unless he's unconscious or clearly out. Just wait and see if he can beat the count (see Golovkin-Rubio recently).

I had it 5-4 Takam when the fight was stopped.

Wlad held a lot because he was afraid of Povetkin's power.

We saw what Sasha did today to Takam (who probably has a better chin than Wladimir).

I'd like to see a rematch with a FAIR referee who stops Klitschko from holding and penalizes him for pushing Povetkin down.

Cong**** to Povetkin, took on a top contender and did the business. I hope he continues taking on strong oppo., given Wlad should've been DQ'd he has a decent argument for being the best HW out there right now.

Don't be ridiculous, Takam was unconscious.

I think it's quite obvious that Povetkin is the 2nd best HW in the division.

Fights I'd love to see apart from Povetkin vs. Stiverne/ Wilder. Is Povetkin vs. Haye, if Haye comes back.

Takam clearly hadn't fully recovered from the k/d at the end of the previous round. He'd just been knocked down heavily with a lot of the round still to go.

Bayless made the right call, Takam lives to fight another day.
