I agree that Canelo has some really awesome match ups coming up, but for some reason I see this rematch happening somewhere down the line. Canelo is still a young fighter and if Lara can get a few solid wins then yeah Id pay to see that, i bet some of yall would too haha

Nelo vs. Cotto/GGG/Chavez jr. Are freakin badass fights and wouldnt mind paying for those first. Interested in Laras next too.

Thought Lara won easily. Not that shocked by the decision since Canelos the name , but he knows if there was a rematch he'd be easily out boxed again.


I dont think a rematch will ever happen , Lara isn't a big enough name so he has to start and actually make some noise and Canelo has way more lucrative fights with HBO and I don't think he gets through that gauntlet unscathed.

I predicted that the fight would have similar results as Canelo-Trout, in that Alvarez would win but the so called arm-chair purists would see the other guy winning.

I hate that Canelo seems to be gathering indecisive 'victories' where he didn't clearly win. Exactly like the Trout fight.

All Canelo has to do is make a fight a 115-113 type of fight, and he'll automatically win it. He only has 1 decisive win over 'acceptable' opposition recently, and thats Angulo. And that wasn't even at a weight class were both fighters are ranked.

If canelo has 115 to 113 then doesn't that make him the winner of the match.

Trout made him look bad? I'm not a big canelo fan but I can't hate on the guy either. I thought it was the other way around. Nelo made trout do the Stanky leg. And made trout miss more than half his punches(with a smirk on his face). Now the Lara fight could have gone either way. And the fight was fought to favor Lara, style wise. Now if Lara would have fought canelos fight (toe to toe) guaranteed he would have gotten knocked out. Now how good does Lara look knowing he couldn't even win desisevly fighting his fight. Not too good. As for the Mayweather fight canelo got beat at his own game. It's his fault for draining himself.
