A few years ago the 168 class was verry strong, during the Super 6 tournament. But now? Kessler is over the hill, Direll is not fighting, Ward is not fighting and Bute is beaten up and ruined as a fighter. But now the 175 class is verry strong. But it would not be a good idea for Froch to move up in weight for his last or two fights. Fight Chavez Jr for a last payday and retire after that.

Chavez Jr is the big one for Carl. An entertaining fight in Vegas, and the most lucrative option out there.
That and GGG would be the only ones i'm bothered about.Comment

I can understand Froch leaning towards money over glory at this point, so if Chavez Jr can be made in Vegas that'd be the most likely bet, though with the TR contract issues which prevented the GGG fight apparently having nixed the Froch proposals as well, it may not work out.
My personal preference would be Froch vs GGG, but it seems likely that the numbers wouldn't add up - it'd be a big fight, but not big enough for PPV - still.. my favourite (and according to Carl's own poll, the public favourite also)
Ward - well, it seems unlikely - even if Ward somehow emerges from his legal disputes with Goosens successors in the near future (which is far from certain) - it's probably not much bigger a fight than GGG in terms of sales.
I'm guessing either Kessler III (which I don't have massive interest in) or trying to whip up enough UK attention to make DeGale into major domestic event like Groves II.
Whichever way it goes it'll be a massive shame to see Carl leave the sport, a true warrior and one of the enduring characters of the last decade.Comment

dont like froch to be honest. think he's a very insecure bloke and has some issues, however you have to give the guy respect. never ducked down from a challenge. gave groves the rematch he wanted and stil beat him.Comment

A WARRIOR is what Zab Judah did against Cory Spinks. Spinks beat him in the first fight. So what did Zab do to ensure he gets the rematch? He took a pay cut and went to Spinks' hometown and knocked him out. That's a WARRIOR!
Froch is a stiff robotic fighter with a strong chin.
Ward and Hopkins are SUPERIOR to him...
So please stop overrated Carl Froch. He's a good fighter, but not great and far from a true WARRIOR. Please...Comment
