Nah I'd compare that situation with Froch-Groves.

That was basically the exact same situation only difference is Froch fought Groves as opposed to relinquishing the belt.

If Froch was younger then I would too.

But Froch has done it all and then some.

I know, as does everyone else, that Froch only wants 1 more fight really, and that's Chavez.

I don't want to see him walk away from the sport off those other fights mentioned.

Any younger, hungrier fighter but it's not necessarily so much who wants a shot but the fact that any aged fighter wants to cash out. And Froch, who chased after Calzaghe toward the end of his career, is doing the same.

Exactly....what the *** is he on about?

Froch fought Groves who was his younger mandatory which is something Calzaghe didn't do for Froch, rightly or wrongly.

So not quite the Calzaghe route then? In fact, quite a lot different than what Calzaghe did. One could say....the opposite.

Other than that, yeah the Calzaghe route!

I really want to see Froch-Golovkin, ideally in late June early July. Given how Golovkin did 8,500 in MSG and will do 9,000 at Stub Hub, it's a lock that he and Froch would sell out MGM. It's just a matter of ppv sells, which won't be soley dependent on US figures given this would be an international event.

After Rubio, Golovkin will take another fight in Feb/March by which time his brand might be strong enough to support a Froch ppv. They could even have Roc Nation promote it as they would do a good job pushing the various channels for hype.

Would love to see froch fight

                    Hopkins
                    Ward 2
                    Chavez jr
                    Ggg
                    Stevenson

2 out of those would be ideal
