Mayweather chose Juan Manuel Marquez over Mosley. Why? There's no way that Marquez was a proven bigger draw than Mosley or that he "deserved" the fight more. It was because he was a hispanic fighter and Mosley was black. He said it himself during his interview with Brian Kenny.

Why are you arguing against something that's blatantly obvious? I'm basically saying the sky is blue here and you're arguing against it.

I think he chose Marqeuz because he saw Mosley as too big a risk for his first fight back.

That's speculation, but that's what I think.

I was pretty obvious that Mosley at the time would do better numbers than Marquez and that showed to be true when they fought.

kell brook is not so popular in the uk either. Mayweather will gain nothing from fighting a guy with such a crappy resume, only decent win on his resume is a close one against porter and thats about it.

If your point is that he prefers not to face Black fighters and all you have as proof is

1. a fighter he fought

2. a fighter who lost two chances to fight him

3. Devon Alexander

All in a span of five years then your argument is weak. Pretty clear that he really doesn't have too many options in the way of Black fighters.
