no it doesn't. algieri is a big guy. if you seen the press conferences or go on his instagram and watch his interviews he's done in the past you'll know that he is more than capable of fighting at 154 successfully.

moving up 4 pounds isn't a big leap for someone like algieri and especially since he's fighting a small welterweight.

Algieri kinda got lucky a bit and just got a big win at the right place at the right time, now he gets a big opportunity against Pacquiao to show the world that he is legit and someone to be take serious

I'm not against new younger/NEW guys getting a SHOT, that is how stars are born, how can boxing build up new stars if the guys at the top just recycle and fight each other over and over until they retire

He was 150 for the first one and weighed in at his heaviest (147) for the second. I'm pretty sure he was 150-151 on fight night for that too.
