This situation looks less like Avalos ducking than Top Rank wanting to screw Caribe the same way Haymon screwed Roc Nation. The big difference is Quillin was going to make 1.4m and Avalos was going to make 75K.

Winning and proper promotion sells. That's vwhy ROC Nation and Frank Warren offered him million dollar contracts. He can't get fights because his promoter is difficult to work with. Do your research outside of Dan Rafael blogs.
Yes Mayweather is defensive and sells, but he's the exception. Most fighters who sell, do it with their style.
And I don't doubt his promoters are the idiots, but it was his choice to sign with them. He had a big promoter in Top Rank, and even they couldn't get him fights. HBO didn't want to broadcast Rigo. It is why when Rigo fought Agbeko, Arum was in Rigo's locker room telling him HBO execs were watching and that he needed to entertain. Rigo didn't give a ****, and is now suffering the consequences.

Not true. HBO wants you to think that but no one really cares about him. He's boring despite getting knockouts, bland personality and his opposition is uninteresting. He's also in his 30s already.. So HBO have to be urgent in making him relevant to the American public.

Top Ranked signed Rigo to a very generous deal. He got $500K minimum per fight . However, they ran into some issues because Rigo had a conract with Caribe Promotions.
In 2012, Rigondeaux was scheduled to fight Marroqin. However, the fight was in jeopardy because Caribe sued Rigondeaux for breach of contract. Caribe had to work out a co-promotion agreement with Top Rank which Arum was not happy with. Off the bat, you had tension between Rigo's co-promoters.
Then came the Donaire fight. It's no secret who Top Rank wanted to win. When Rigondeaux won, Arum had a problem. A fighter who he had to co-promote and share revenues with. After the Donaire fight, Top Rank offered Rigo a slot on Zou Schming undercard a couple of months later. But Caribe being the geniuses they are rejected the fight because they felt that Rigo should have been headlining and receiving a higher purse than Zou Schming. The guy that's selling THE ****ING TICKETS!!
So now Arum is pissed. It's no coincidence you see him destroying Rigo in the media and talking about how unmarketable he is. To shove it up their ass, he says "OK, I'll let you headline." So he gives him a fight in Atlantic City, on the same night as Judah/Malignaggi up the street in BK, and makes him headline after Glen Tapia, the guy that sells the tix. The fight completely flopped for obvious reasons.
To minimize his losses, Arum gets him the Sod fight, throws it on the Macau card, gets it on Unimas so he can finish out his contract.
So now Rigo is a free agent. Haymon, Top Rank, GBP, Frank Warren and Roc Nation were all interested. Roc Nation had million dollar offers on the table, Warren had million dollar offers on the table and I don't know what everybody else offered. But the problem is, Caribe is Rigo's main promoter. They are looking for a co-promotional agreement. The reason they want this is because they have no money, they have no experience and they have no connections. They want to be a co-promoter to have their names on the banners and take a percentage of Rigo's purse. Roc Nation, Haymon, GBP, Top Rank, Warren, etc. etc. all want to be exclusive and knock Caribe out of the picture. And it makes sense. They are putting up all of the capital, they have all of the connections and they need complete control to properly market them. Why should Caribe even be in the picture? Because Caribe insisted on being a co-promoter all of these deals were taken off the table.
And that's where we are now. Nobody wants to work with these crooks.

People want to promote him and have the resources and connections to do so.
All 3 deals were killed by his bonehead promoters, Caribe. They want total control of his career and are afraid that these big time promoters and advisors will expose their shady asses.
But no I was talking about the fans who are trying to make Avalos pulling out some how "RIGONDEAUX FAULT" because of his Style
