Funny how Israel Vasquez, Oscar Larios, Erik Morales, Marco Barrera, Manny Pacquiao, Nassem Hamad, Juan Manuel Lopez, and so many others had no marketability issues at Super Bantamweight, and could compete in popularity with any middleweight.

Save the "Rigondeaux Style" Excuse, you agreed to fight, I am going to assume that Bob Arum couldn't get Rigondeaux to sign a SLAVE DEAL to remain with Top Rank so he took the fight away from him...LIKELY!

Something smells, Avalos is jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Rigo was going to box him Cuban style, flash with little risk. Frampton, on the other hand, wants to get him on a short pier in Belfast, in front of 50,000 Irishmen, and beat the crap out of him. What is the trade off in money and doctor bills?

It's not the style. ROC Nation offered him a 1 year $2 million deal and Frank Warren offered him something like 2/$3m. Haymon offered him an undisclosed amount.

People want to promote him and have the resources and connections to do so.

All 3 deals were killed by his bonehead promoters, Caribe. They want total control of his career and are afraid that these big time promoters and advisors will expose their shady asses.

It's Chris Avalos. I literally have no idea who he even is. Does anyone really give a *** that he's not fighting Rigo?

Oh so it's a Cuban thing now.

I don't remember Joel Casamayor having this much trouble getting fights. If I recall he fought some of the biggest names of his division.

And if Yuriorkis Gamboa wasn't such an idiot bailing on a winnable fight against Rios, he could have been bigger than he was.

                  It's not a Cuban thing. It's a style thing.
                  Action sells, overly defensive doesn't.

Who is the #1 pound for pound fighter in the world?

Winning and proper promotion sells. That's vwhy ROC Nation and Frank Warren offered him million dollar contracts. He can't get fights because his promoter is difficult to work with. Do your research outside of Dan Rafael blogs.
