It's not insufficient. PEDs aren't so magical that they can stay in your system for 8 weeks and beyond. It doesn't work that way. The drug user would have to continue the drug use on and off to maintain. They can't just stop and be clean for 2 months/8 weeks during training camp. If miraculously anything is still present in your system, the levels of it will be too low to really benefit from in a significant way come fight night.

I agree. I have seen suspected PED users in my gym. You can tell when they are cycling on and off the juice. When they're on, they are monsters for several weeks. They are suddenly huge and extremely strong. When they are off, they shrink and get markedly weaker, appearing to be mere mortals. The body reverts back to its normal state rather quickly without PEDs.
