day of the fight testing is POST FIGHT testing. mayweather got 2 weeks leeway in blood testing in all his fight except in ortiz fight. they dont test too close to the fight because if there were complications, there will be enough time to heal.

The fight with Ortiz proves that what they do is indeed random and that they can take blood within 2 weeks before the fight. It's not like they are taking a pint of blood or something. The chance of complications is very, very small.

if they are not considering the complications then they should be taking the test 2 days before the fight before fighters go up in the ring to prevent fighters to actually fight juice up. the closest they do the blood test is after the fight and in case of ortiz 10 days before the fight.

it is random blood testing but they are not doing any invasive testing too close to the fight. as evidence of all blood testing schedule was done 10 days or more before the fight.

Less than 10 fighters doesn't equal "just about every". Not to mention, Pac wasn't too concerned about "just about every" seeing that he has taken so long to get there.

He should subject himself to testing because it was a concern of the other fighter, who was at the VERY LEAST had the same bargaining power and arguably more. He should've done it because it would've made the fight. Just like Floyd subjected himself to the 10mil per lb penalty and conceeded the ring size & glove size. Now that we see that Pac was originally able to do so and all the excuses were BS, the question shouldn't be why should he, but WHY SHOULDN'T HE?
