The British public focus far too much on personality. Froch was hardly known by anyone at first, then he was respected for the way he fought and now that he's famous, the public love to tear him down because they think he's "too big for his boots"

Typical ***ing morons in the British public. Makes me ashamed to be part of it.

It's kinda interesting that he didn't mentioned the two boxers who he could never beat in his carreer, Ward and Dirrell Kessler got credit though because he was beaten by Froch on the rematch.

And nothing of value would be lost.

Yeah, it's pretty pathetic. As if anyone cares what you think of a boxers personality. It should never be brought up in a sporting discussion.

He has stated a few times that he doesn't like the way Ward and especially Dirrell fight. Yes probably because he has difficulty with them but also because they don't stand and trade.

Froch has always respected Kessler. Even before he won their rematch, he admired Kessler because Kessler stood his ground and met him punch for punch.
He did beat Dirrell, of course, but he didn't mention him or Ward in that interview because he doesn't respect either of them. He considers both to be runners and spoilers, rather than fighters. He has also said that Groves hurt him more in one round than Ward did in the whole of their fight.

I don't like carl froch because of the way he says the word "magnitude"
I don't like carl froch because I had to listen to his slag scream "****ing hit him carl, he's ****ing ****" all the way through the Abraham fight.
I don't like carl froch because he then had the nerve to complain about other people being disrespectful. Demanding a level of respect and acting like a child if he doesn't get it.
I don't like carl froch because haye aside, I have never known him to show solidarity or be supportive of any uk boxer, being openly spiteful and argumentative with khan. But when groves gets some sparring in with Kessler patriotism is bought up.
I don't like carl froch because he thinks he can dictate his own legacy, always has his cv full of boastful hyperbole to hand to point out where he should go down in history.
I don't like carl froch because his warrior spirit in the ring contradicts his insecure pseudo warrior personality. Using an oasis anthem for his ring walk in Manchester, standing in front of groves after the rematch and giving him his due saying they were neck and neck in there, then a week later saying he absolutely annihilated him.

I admit I'm a groves fan but i've disliked froch way before groves was anywhere near his radar, always seemed to have a chip in his shoulder.

                  I respect his toughness.
I respect the adjustments he made for the rematch, which I totally admit thought he was incapable of making, proved me wrong there.
I respect the level he fights at and everything he's done in boxing given his natural ability.

But the way he is as a person has always overshadowed those achievements for me.
So let's see.. You are a Boxing fan but what a person does outside of the ring is more important to you than what they do inside the ring?
                  Maybe Boxing isn't your thing?
In your own words; you are saying what a boxer does as far as boxing goes is of no consequence if he not a likable person.

Maybe you should go hang out on a Psychology forum or the Care Bears forum and you can all tell stories about mean people, sing Kumbaya and finish with a fucking group hug.

Dear God!! Do you realize how ******ed you sound?

I don't think his personality is really that bad. He's a bit insecure on it as you say, but nobody's perfect. I don't mind Groves either. Most people seem to hate one or the other. I wish them both well, good for British boxing to see them at the top.
