I still cannot understand why so many people here accuse Froch of ducking Ward, when he has never turned down an offer to fight him or done anything at all to try and stop that match from happening.
He isn't chasing after Ward, that's true, but not chasing somebody is a different thing than ducking them, and Ward isn't chasing Froch either. As a matter of fact, he seems even less interested in fighting Froch again than Froch is in fighting him. The only time anybody tried to set up a rematch it was Froch's side who made the attempt and Ward's side who didn't want to know.
Here's another thought I had on this matter - Floyd is No1 p4p and Ward is No2. Both are unbeaten, elusive counter-punchers who would be big favourites to bamboozle and out-smart anybody who stepped up against them.
EVERYBODY wants to fight Floyd, but nobody seems to want to fight Andre. I wonder why that is?
Because Ward hasn't got the ****y, scandal hero persona like Mayweather's. Mayweater needed this evil "money" persona to be the biggest P4P draw however I think his real peronality is pretty much the same he didn'thave toact much. Ward on the other hand is an intelligent guy, just look some interviews with him and you will see, I guess he hasn't got the stomach to act like a childish, mouthy scandal hero.

And I didn't say that Froch is ducking Ward but I said that he openly doesn't care about a rematch, if he would be so tough also outside the ring, he would try to chase Ward and prove that he is the #1 SMW instead of chaisng Chavez Jr. What kind of challenge would be a ChavezJr. fight for Froch? Nothing, it would be just a cash out, no motivation outside the money. If he is satisfied with the #2 SMW postion that's good too, but then he should give respect to Ward and he shouldn't complain about Ward's style of boxing.

He does respect Ward. He's said numerous times that he's very good and may well retire unbeaten. He just doesn't like his style. That's a perfectly legitimate and reasonable stance to have. Many people share it.

        Now that's funny!
Naaah, don't give words in my mouth which I didn't say! I said it's nota classical "duck" since they aren'tin the same divison, and Golovkin is not the only option for him, BUT making a poll include Golovkin in it and after he won the poll still chase another fight is disrespect to his fans. He made a poll but doesn't care about the result...
        1. If he already knew that he won't fight with Golovkin, why he included him in his poll?
        2. If he already knew that he will chase the Chavez fight regardless of the poll, then why he wven made a poll?
Or did I missed somthing out?

In my opinion, making a poll for your fans and after that choose other opponent than the winner of it is an unclassy thing and disrespectful for his fans, whatever who does it, Mayweather, Froch or anyone else.

You're reading far too much into this "poll"

GGG is fighting Rubio, then he wants one of the other belt holders before, in his own words, cleaning out 160.

Golovkin wants to clear 160 before he moves up of down, do you want Froch to sit around doing nothing until GGG is ready to move up? That could easily be another 2 years from now.
