This is why I don't get the arguments with the catch weights... Manny beats Cotto at any weight and Money beats Canelo at any weight too... Yet they both get discredited... The fight that gets made is the one that the promoters and the public push. I made this thread because I think Pacquiao will beat Cotto at any weight and I want to see that 9th belt and 5th Lineal Title.

Point is, Pac pursued Cotto. That means he/they wanted the fight. Now, if they wanted the fight and they felt they could've won "at any weight", then why didn't they take it? The answer is obvious.

Catchweights have always been a part of boxing, they only became a big deal when the Pacman made Cotto lose a measly pound.. then all of a sudden Cotto was drained so badly he could barely walk
