That doesn't explain why he only made Cotto go to 145 and all the other WW's got to come in at the full 147.

Pacquiao adjusted awfully damn quick AFTER the Cotto fight then. He never needed another CW at welterweight before he had to pry JMM away from GBP for their trilogy fight.
You criticized him for fighting at 147 and then fighting at 145, when the fight he had at 147 wasn't a real fight.

Cotto is the first real welterweight Pac has ever fought.

You're right, Pac and Roach do know their **** and they knew that Oscar was shot to **** and couldn't handle Pac's speed. So they took a low risk tremendously high reward fight.

That's the fight that put Pacquiao's name on the map. That's the fight that made him famous.

Roach knows Cotto too well now, and Cotto knows it. He knows that he isn't just fighting one killer in there, he's fighting two. One of those killers knows him better than he knows himself. The other killer knows how to break him down because he's done it already.

Cotto lost the mental battle before he lost the physical battle in the first fight, and Pacquiao went to work.
Pac isn't on the good PEDS anymore and Cotto is not going to be drained. I don't see how he is going to beat a healthier Cotto especially when his punching power and speed has dwindled exponentially since.

1 pound made all the difference brah!

Delusional Cottards can never accept reality, the plaster glove excuse is cringe worthy too.

So knowing Oscar was going to being drained going in, Pacquiao-ODLH wasn't an actual WW fight because he was shot and drained. Regardless of the condition of his opponent, Pacquiao made weight easy and looked sensational. Which leads back to the point, the entire point of the CW was to drain and hinder MC, not to help Pacquiao "adjust" to WW as if he needed that stage. Clearly was an elite WW from jump.

No because a fight with Oscar means fortune and fame. They compromised to make the fight happen.

Nobody knew oscar was going to be drained. He wanted the fight at 147 and Pacquiao agreed to everything he wanted.

What fighter or team with half a brain would turn down a fight against a box office fighter? Regardless of the condition he's in.

The fact that he did beat Oscar gave him the power in the negotiations to have the fight with Cotto at a catchweight. Pacquiao was the draw. Cotto can't sell a million by himself.

On the Arum payrol and he never tried to win the fight , he alluded to it in an interview that he was supposed to lose , he was also sent into semi retirement holiday in the Ba***** after the fight , then look at Mannys head after it and Clottey rarely engaged or went for Pac , Arum was exposed years earlier in front off a grand jury for fixing fights .

Not hard to put 2 and 2 together is it .

One day somebody will write a book and all of this stuff will come out , Mannys WW run is phoney , you wait and see .
