You keep dodging the fact that pacquiao was making catchweights that drained fighters. By your logic pacquiao should never have set a catchweight against margarito if he never had trouble making 147. 145 is a huge difference from 150 when you are squeezing into a weight class. I'll admit floyd drained canelo for sure. So using that logic clearly an extra 2 pounds made a huge difference, correct? So how is 5 pounds not a massive difference for cotto? This thread is ****** if you follow boxing. Cotto and Manny are friends now who share the same trainer. Cotto is too BIG for Manny now and that fight makes no sense at all. Get over it. Manny is my favorite fighter of this era but if he fights Cotto without a catchweight, he probably gets Ko'ed against this current Cotto. Cotto is too skilled and too big to fight a smaller fighter. His power and confidence is back and that's a dangerous combination. Roach has him thinking he can KO a heavyweight.
