I regret to inform you.... He cant. And if by some miracle he did he would be drained beyond belief Manny has a been fighting at WW full time for what 6-7 years now. Thats a looooooooooong time man.

140 is over. I dont know why people cant just accept this fact its okay for him to be a legit WW. Hes a legit WW in every sense of the phrase. Im not going to really argue iit . Just seems like logic. That weight sticks to you over the years. Ask Floyd.

There is a reason he has never fought at 140 again. And its not money. Hes Manny Pacquiao hes a big time draw he doesnt need to fight at 147 for money thats ludicrous. He could drag any fighter he wants to 140 or fight people at 140 and still get paid.

      Cotto was drained at 145?
You remember how everyone defended Pac and Roach when Floyd asked for testing....and the initial excuses were, " needles, superstition, blood withdrawn weakens" then we we found out that none of that would really affect Pac, it became , " a mental advantage "

Well the whole weight thing Per Roach is to get a mental advantage. If it isn't the defense of the one that lost but the excuse for the winner....then it must be true.

        Thanks for stating the obvious.

Rematch never happens though. Nor should it.

It's okay for Floyd and Cotto to fight him then it should be okay for Pac too.
Especially all these people that believe he can beat Cotto at any weight and can beat Floyd too.
          This is gold.

          Contradictive statement.

The Cotto struggle a lot with speed or pressure, I even believe the Cotto loses to Khan at a 150 catchweight.

Exactly. Add to this, this is not the magic-power-pellets Manny either. Healthy Cotto beats that ass in rematch.

What does this have to do with anything? It wasn't Cotto that was pursuing Pac for the second fight, it was Pac pursuing him. So, while you might feel that Pac beats Cotto at any weight, unfortunately, Pac and his team feel differently about the issue, otherwise they would've made the fight.

What does history and immortality have to do with anything?

                      Everything.

The fight that gets made is the one that the promoters and the public push. I made this thread because I think Pacquiao will beat Cotto at any weight and I want to see that 9th belt and 5th Lineal Title.
