It is why Arum saying the fight can't be May 5th after Floyd got out of going to jail specifically so he could fight on May 5th. With the court saying saying there will be no more and he better do what he says (I can find this also if you want to call this speculation).Comment

Ok i have a meeting to attend so im out
Arum is just promoting right now like he always does. If he still talks and trys to actually call floyds team after Pac fight then ok ill say hes trying but till then he still spinning the masses and Pac fans/Floyd haters are eating it up.Comment

Bob is a known racist who doesn't look at Hispanics and Blacks as equal. He was famously quoted in the past saying "let the Mexicans and blacks fight, and we'll make money off it". Today the most powerful men in the sport, that promote fighters and manage fighters are Hispanic and Black. Notice who Arum "can not do business with". Also people need to stop looking at Mayweather as just a fighter at this point, he's trying to build his own promotional brand. He's not just the talent being featured but also had his hands in the whole process when it comes to his last couple fights. If there was money that was ever owed to Floyd, then there should have been some kind of litigation. But if Floyd honestly feels that he was ripped-off by Bob and feels that he can't prove it in court, then put this issue on the current round of negotiations.
The point is, confront him like a man. He's supposed to be a elite fighter and super businessman, but he can't even face this over 80 year old senior citizen?
Mayweather can promote the fight under his banner, just like Goldenboy did with the Lomachenko-Russell Jr. fight. Bob Arum wasn't involved in that fight although that was one of his fighters, he easily stepped aside. So why is it so difficult for him to stop being in the way of this fight? Because he's upset that his business is losing and that Mayweather is trumping him. Just like Goldenboy became a major promo company after hosting Mayweather-De La Hoya, Mayweather is trying to do the same. Why should he let his name build up other brands instead of his own? Why is Bob Arum so greedy and spiteful that he won't let Manny get his biggest payday and be able to pay off some debts? Also why should Mayweather let some old racist get wealthier off him, who always throwing dirt on his name?
Everyone knows Arum is the reason the fight isn't happening so people need to either wait him out until he die or complain all over the world for his to step aside like he did for Lomachenko-Russell and other fights Goldenboy hosted that had Top Rank fighters.Last edited by Slick Veteran; 09-22-2014, 12:21 PM.Comment

It was not a bad offer, please explain why it was.
The most two fighters ever split to that point was just a shade over 80 million for Oscar-Floyd.
Half the biggest amount that has even been split between fighters is not a terrible offer especially to start off.
How much did you expect Manny to make? The fighters would have to be in line to split well beyond 100 million which is 25% beyond the biggest fight ever to that point.
Still the bad thing was not turnign down that offer, a first offer is never the best offer, but when you really want to make a deal do you know what you do, try to work it out. You know what you don't do, talk about why that offer was not good enough laughing it off out of hand. The fact you accept the laughing it off out of hand shows how biased you are.Comment

When did Pacquiao all of sudden have a shot to beat Floyd. What did I miss? I tried to tell you idiots that a Maidana rematch would go just like it did and now you want to see him bend over Manny and embarrass him? Why?

Floyd winning UD was the expected outcome if you know anything about boxing but what wasn't expected was seeing Floyd supposedly "lose a step" according to the manner in which he won the fight.Comment
