According to Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, Floyd Mayweather Jr. (47-0, 26KOs) himself is the only obstacle remaining in a deal being reached for a mega-fight with Manny Pacquiao in 2015.

Arum says there is no issue on money, there is no issue with drug testing, there is no issue with weight, there is no issue with Mayweather being the A-side of the promotion and the veteran promoter says the biggest issue has been solved - both Showtime and HBO are willing to come together to make the fight. Mayweather has an exclusive contract with Showtime and Pacquiao has a similar deal with HBO.

There was a good 1-2 year period where Floyd's name wasn't even mentioned in the build up to a PAC fight ... Right after the Marquez ko. I get why they weren't talking, no one at that point really thought PAC could win ... With that said, regardless of what took place in the maidana fights ... Floyd would be a heavy favorite ... For a reason.
