When he thought Floyd was going to jail he said Manny will be available to fight JMM on May 5th at the MGM. Then when the jail stint got pushed back, Arum said more time is needed for the cut to heal and the fight needs to be in late May or June 9th. Knowing very well Floyd was under contract for May 5th and that his jail term was set to start on June 1st.

No way in hell am I going to take anything this man says seriously, he simply does not want this fight, his actions prove it. And Pacquiao is a docile lap dog because he has yet to apply pressure to Arum to stop wasting time and make it happen. Your point is moot considering Floyd called Konzcz and dealt directly with Pacquaio. Did Arum force Floyd to make that laughable $40m offer?

I'm more focusing on the here and now. The idea now seems to be that Arum can't be involved in the fight. Why? Why does Pacquiao have to leave his promoter and sign with Mayweather's company to make it happen?

This has been asked several times and my answer is always the same-since Bob asked JMM and shane to severe ties and join TR as a condition of getting a Manny fight, floyd. as promoter, is copying the move and asking Manny to do same because this way he doesn't have to work with Bob.

When negotiations 1st started Floyd didn't ask for this. SInce then, in addition to my previous post Bob has done things like the countdown clock, the "new stadium" request, and the JMM/SHane things mentioned above.yes manny generates more than either of those fighters. but to say he ca't do it is ridiculous.

Very few on NSB in general, and NO manny fans in particular, ever said asking a fighter to leave their promoter to get a manny fight was an impediment to the fight or a "roadblock". why did it become that when only after Floyd asks? Because manny doesn't want to leave TR.

Which just illustrates my point-manny not getting what he wants has been the only impediment to this fight.

I don't remember Pacquaio requesting that Mayweather join Top Rank. That's the only comparison you could make if there was one.

It was not a bad offer, please explain why it was.

The most two fighters ever split to that point was just a shade over 80 million for Oscar-Floyd.

Half the biggest amount that has even been split between fighters is not a terrible offer especially to start off.

How much did you expect Manny to make? The fighters would have to be in line to split well beyond 100 million which is 25% beyond the biggest fight ever to that point.

Still the bad thing was not turnign down that offer, a first offer is never the best offer, but when you really want to make a deal do you know what you do, try to work it out. You know what you don't do, talk about why that offer was not good enough laughing it off out of hand. The fact you accept the laughing it off out of hand shows how biased you are.

Take less money
Leave bob arum
Sign on to mayweather promotions
He has marquez problems
He has gotten ko'd

and there are videos of floyd interviews of him completely dodging the questions about pacquiao. Also, there's a video of floyd basically explaining his reasoning why he thinks pacquiao is juicing. There's no way I can believe a hypocrite like floydie.

I never said he did. you can make any comparison once posters start saying that "asking a potential opponent to leave their promoter" is a "roadblock". Manny and his team have made this request of other fighters because he was the bigger fighter. they can't make it with Floyd because. well we know.

I brought up 2 instances where "asking a potential opponent to leave their promoter" was not a "roadblock" to a fight. Its not a "roadblock" if the potential opponent doesn't make it one.

If the potential opponent chooses to make it one-it's his fault, not the fighter making the request. which takes us right back to my initial post in this thread.

The only way Floyd is an impediment is that he isn't giving bob and Manny what manny wants to make a fight.

What's funny is that $40 mill was the offer before he got knocked out, Manny doesn't deserve that much at this point, Floyd is hands down the boss at the negotiations table. Manny has no cards left to play, he must play the role of "B side" and follow directions.

It was more than good, it was great.

You must not know how it works, the A side takes the lions share and the B side takes whatever they are given within reason. Floyd did it when he was in the biggest fight ever with Oscar. He took 25 mil while Oscar got 60 plus mil on top of PPV money and Floyd didn't complain.

Canelo made crumbs compared to Floyd for their fight and while he got revenue from Mexican broadcast I don't believe he got a ppv cut and he didn't complain either.

What makes it more hilarious is that JMM who has built his drawing power and put Manny into a coma, asked for a larger split and Manny whined about being the A side Hahaha!
