But the US doesn't and their fights are on around 4 or so. So why not show that fight and maybe 1 undercard then go over and show Canelo card. Big PPV and I can't see how a fan could complain about that.

Im a huge cotto fan, but if mayweather-pacquiao fight, im buying the pacquiao fight in all honesty. I would still however, buy the cotto fight and put it on the other tv.

All four fighters will get a handsome guaranteed paycheck, and I’d let the promoters split the PPV however they see fit. I'd pay $120.00 for that card on a Tuesday night!! And to get even more carried away, feature some of Mayweather’s stable versus Cotto’s Stable, and some of those TopRank kids versus the Golden Boy kids. I can think of a million possibilities. ****, I’d call the event “Clash of the Titans” or something real cheesy like that.

Thats a great ****ing idea! **** I would pay $500 for an 8 fight card like that!

Can someone clarify for me though..

Canelo wants the Cinco de Mayo date?
          But Mayweather has it currently..
Who's in a position to decide which boxer gets that date?
          Probably HBO and Showtime.

Why can't he just wait another year when Floyd is done. He hasn't done anything to make demands like that. He should just fight Cotto early next year, and then the winner could get Floyd in May if there is no Pac fight. What if Floyd just goes for the Cotto fight instead. If I'm Cotto I wait to see which guy give me the best offer. I think Floyd vs Cotto will do huge numbers if they fight in May, and have Leo Santa Cruz vs Guillermo Rigondeaux, and a guy like Thurman on the under card.

I understand him wanting those dates but he's got to earn it, imo. He clearly lost to Mayweather and I think he's gotta eat a little humble pie before he tries to be a shot caller

When this azz clown loses in December, he will no longer want to fight a top level fighter in May.

Yeah, Hopefully Clottey wins so we can get GGG vs Cotto.

And so would Madison Square Garden/Yankee Stadium but you won't see either mofo going into the other person's den. Also in Vegas, where some of the biggest fights are made, Cotto would be too scared to go there as well. Sucks but I see the venue being a huge roadblock if they do try to fight(Canelo/Cotto).
