You're meaning to say you would be willing to buy Floyd's next fight and have people completely forget a fight is happening and go off and socialize by round 6 if they haven't already fell asleep?

Right and let's put Broner on ppv to see how he does, shall we?

Maybe Canelo will be compassionate and let Floyd fight another Jr Lightweight in the main support slot.

If it is a choice between Canelo vs Cotto or Floyd vs any fighter not named Manny Pacquiao, then I am choosing Canelo - Cotto. A Canelo and Cotto fight is pretty much guaranteed fireworks. Floyd's last fight was nothing more then a running and hugging fest, so there is no way I would pay to see that again.

My thoughts exactly. Imagine that. Mayweather versus Pacquiao, and the co-main event Canelo versus Cotto. That my friend is a boxing fans wet dream, regardless if you are a "casual-fan" or "die-hard fan". All four fighters will get a handsome guaranteed paycheck, and I’d let the promoters split the PPV however they see fit. I'd pay $120.00 for that card on a Tuesday night!! And to get even more carried away, feature some of Mayweather’s stable versus Cotto’s Stable, and some of those TopRank kids versus the Golden Boy kids. I can think of a million possibilities. ****, I’d call the event “Clash of the Titans” or something real cheesy like that.

Me neither. This forces Floyd to fight manny, or choose another date. Canelo cotto is a huge fight. People are using low ppv numbers vs a cubano y un argentino as evidence that their fight would draw poorly. Floyd's fights against them drew huge numbers because big name vs big name gets a lot of buys. Pr vs Mexico would draw huge and would beat any fight Floyd has against anyone not named PAC.

I would watch any alternative fight which falls on the same schedule as any Mayweather fight. I'm simply sick of the advantages given to this guy. I don't want to see any more of his fights where the ref doesn't allow inside fighting. WTF!

Very interested to see how this pans out..

Can someone clarify for me though..

Canelo wants the Cinco de Mayo date?
                    But Mayweather has it currently..
Who's in a position to decide which boxer gets that date?
