It's rather perplexing as to why the offer changed so drastically.

Of course it's speculation on my part, but most people with common sense would conclude that Floyd put in roadblocks that he thought Manny would reject, and when they were accepted a new roadblock emerged.

First it was drug testing after practically slandering the man as a cheat.

Then when that was accepted it changed to 0% PPV... (A peculiarly different offer to the initial one)

Now it's leave Bob Arum... another peculiar demand that seemed to emerge after Pac gave into all of Floyd's prior demands...

    Now it's join Mayweather promotions...

Take your Fl0mo tinted glasses off and a picture will emerge. Your God that you worship never wanted the fight.
I business when you reject any part, you reject the offer. there is no line item veto in boxing.

Again, why base something on speculation when you have a pattern of behavior to analyze. In your everyday life, behavior pattern is much more of an accurate predictor than "uhh I think because I don't like the guy".

Aww, Floyd called him a name. See ali v frazier 1, or ali v Patterson, or emile Griffithv. (**** I forget) to see what a fighter does when someone calls him bad names.

when he accepted ALMOST 5 YEARS LATER (you left that out) it was drastically different. why? probably because Manny had just been KTFO by a guy Floyd destroyed. As you are aware the casual public (falsely) uses this to judge if an opponent can beat another guy. The reality is at that point the fight likely wasn't a 3 mil ppv seller as it was expected to be at its height.

Similar demand made from TR to JMM and Shane-didn't prevent either fight.

The use of the word ***** may give you credibility amongst the very worst fans here on NSB-but it makes you look like a child who is mad the discussion isn't going the way they want it. Same with the God worship stuff.

The fact is Manny turned the fight down twice. That is what you would focus on in any other situation.

Dunn and Dazed in full spin control as usual, and I'm not even a big fan of Manny. Did Manny mess up the first set of negotiations? Yes. Has everything after been Floyd doing all he can to avoid the fight? Yes. The difference is Manny was said "The hell with it," has accepted testing now and said on ESPN he would take less money, at any time and weight. Floyd is seriously now saying he hast to leave his promoter, if Manny came out and said Floyd has to join Top Rank you guys would be in here posting meme's in your sig about that ****.

Both are at fault but since then Manny has done what he can to make the fight happen while Floyd on the other hand has done all he can to not make it happen. Just because Floyd tried the first time doesn't mean it's somehow justified now that he gets to duck making the fight at least 3 times now.

            Floyd's Demands

The key to sincere negotiations is to balance your demands with concessions because. All I hear from Floyd are demands. "I want this, and Pac has to do that, etc..."

If he doesn't offer something that will compensate Pac for all his demands, then he is not serious.

              1. Slanders him as a cheat then demands he take drug tests in order to fight.

              2. I cant do business with Bob Arum.

              3. I'm retired. I'm not thinking about Manny Pacquiao

              4. Where was Manny Pacquiao in 96, 97, 98?

              3. Everyone wants to see me fight Pacquiao but my health is more important.

              4. $40mil flat fee with no ppv upside for Pacquiao (for a fight that would be the highest grossing fight of all time)

              5. And yes Pacquiao you're next. Next day...I never said that!

              6. Pacquiao must become his own boss first.

              7. Pacquiao has Timothy Bradley problems

              8. Pacquiao has JMM problems

              9. Pacquiao has IRS problems and wants to fight me for a payday (notice how Floyd admitted that Pac actually wants to fight him)

              7. Pacquiao must join TMT and give me some fights before I fight him.

              8. Pacquiao must leave Bob Arum (mind you Pac is under contract)

              9. Mayweather Promotions must promote the entire fight. No Top Rank (like Bob Arum would allow this. LOL)

              10. It can only happen on Showtime ppv not HBO (mind you Showtime and HBO are willing to co-feature the event). If they're willing, why should Floyd care?

Now does this sound like a man who really wants to step in the ring with Pacquiao, or does this sound like a man who continues to create roadblocks and excuses to not fight him?

Not gonna waste my time slaying the biggest lame I've ever seen that was considered the best boxing has to offer. Floyd is a joke. His fight Saturday was laughable. The ref looked like he was down with TMT himself. Letting him hold all night. And Floyd sure did show everyone that he still has his legs. Smh all I wanna see is him fight PAC. That's it. If he doesn't fight him, than he can just retire for all I care. I literally get nothing outta seeing his fights. It's like Klitschko. Just not gonna even bother with it anymore.

when he got the offer with less money-he said no. SO clearly he didn't really mean it when he said it. More speculation about what might happen if something may have happened. enough of this already. can we deal in facts, please?

Floyd not giving manny what he wants to make the fight is not a roadblock Beater. Manny's ego is the roadblock.

Someone explain why Manny can't fight Floyd unless he gets exactly what he wants?

Pac is the 2nd highest grossing fighter in the world at the moment. If you were Bob Arum, would you let your star pupil fight in the biggest grossing fight of all time and not be a part of it?

                    I didnt think so.

Floyd has no control over what channel he fights on. He is obligated to fight on Showtime because of a contract if they wanted to put it on HBO they could.
