You are obviously passionate about Floyd and boxing, which is a good thing. But all you have stated in your respective posts is an opinion based on other peoples view of the fight.

To be honest, I think matches like these are a waste of time when there is better opposition out there for Floyd, but he appears to pick opponents that reflect his current skill level, which is great for the casuals and his record, but leaves the people who follow boxing frustrated and result in boards becoming arbitrary.

Understood. So can the same thing be said about pacquiao? I mean Brandy Rios and then this Algeri guy. People say Floyd is not that great. If that's the case why is he held at such high standards. Why is that no matter what he does will never be good enough. When Pac beat DLH, Cotto, Mosely, and Hatton it was the next best thing since sliced bread. But when Floyd beats the same guys he gets criticized. He goes in the ring and does what he supposed to do which is win, but gets hated for it. I just don't get it.

The whole fight a clinchfest with Bayless stopping the action, not even letting them fight out of the clinch. I saw Bayless work more than either fighter tonight. No one impressed tonight.

Hey Floyd haters, the man despite his declining skills and age still made Maidana look silly. It wasn't all Bayless' fault. And where did this excessive holding crap come from. The only time he clinched was when Maidana had him against the ropes. I can understand if he did a Khan and clinched each time he threw a punch. Maidana ****** in this rematch and got schooled.
