Comments Thread For: Mayweather Repeats, Decisions Maidana in Las Vegas

I didn't bother to watch this live. I thought it was a pointless rematch, that Maidana would not offer much new.
Having seen it on replay just now... oh lord, Kenny Bayliss should be sanctioned for such a horrific refereeing performance. This was not a hard fight to referee but the second they were close he would break - hands free, punching, or Floyd deliberately holding. No, "Work it out." No, "Stop holding Floyd." No, "Stop jumping on his head, Floyd." Just sheer Mayweather protection. It was like he was his bouncer. I mean, still watching it now, Mayweather gets trapped in the corner and Maidana is punching him with his left hand as Mayweather holds his hands in a tight guard... and Bayliss fWERking breaks them! What the asDFASDF!?!! HORRIBLE! Ruined the entire fight. Not that the outcome (Mayweathe victory) would be different, but at least he'd have been roughed up a bit.
Maidana showed a few good moves but as expected got outboxed. He hurt Mayweather at the end of the 3rd by countering that famous Mayweather counter right, Floyd's legs turned to jelly. Beyond that, he got easily outboxed because he couldn't get close - Bayliss put a stop to that - and was never going to win an outside fight.
The undercard was terrible. I feel sorry for anybody that shelled out for this PPV.

It was perfectly okay for Maidana to bite Mayweather and for Victor Ortiz to headbutt him because the Kenny Bayless and all the other refs who have refereed a Mayweather fight ARE ALL WHORES!

Dude ran and held the whole damn fight. Cried like a b1tch to Bayless about getting bit. Then said his fingers went numb. Lol Really Floyd???? This wasn't an MMA fight, y'all had on boxing gloves. Not open finger gloves. How does he bite you that hard, through your gloves and with a mouth piece on???
