Fact is, Rigo is unwilling to travel to Ireland, that's the bottom line.
Bro Rigo travels everywhere. Ireland, N.I, America, Azerbaijan, Panama, Sydney, Athens, Moscow, Colombia and many others. I am sure he will finish of Carlita in his hometown

You only like Rigo so this discredits anything you say about the division.
Lets look at Carlitas next 3 opponents and we can see if they bring much money to the table

      • No money and loses 10 of 12 rounds. Maybe Rigo will relocate to UK with a new promoter to build his following up a bit.

        • That's absurd a fight with Rigondeaux would bring close to as much money if not more than the bout against Martinez did. Unless he's fighting Quigg, any other top fighter in his division doesn't bring much to the table, and the main attraction will always be Frampton. I mean they built a venue for his last fight I'm sure that had little to do with Martinez.

The problem isn't the lack of money in the fight, it's the aftermath of possibly losing that would really hurt Frampton.

          • Fighting Rigo is a guaranteed loss no matter where the fight happens. The fighter might want it but his manager would know better, they would need to chase the money with the likeness of them winning. Not just chase the money and then lose their belt, am expecting Barry Mcguigan to milk that belt till death.

If it was people would actually want to fight the guy, instead your stuck with this amazing boxer who cant market himself, cant satisfy a crowd , and fights defensively even when his opponent has given up and is practically asking to be knocked out. I will never deny he has amazing skill, but it isnt utilised properly, and Rigo only has himself to blame for that.
So let me see, the only fight that Rigondeaux looked bad and still won going away was against cordova, it was his first 12 rounder on his 7 professional fight for an interim belt, after that he ko casey and ramos won a 12 round ud against a much bigger fighter in marroquin (in a fight that was on and off even 3 days before the night of the event, actually he was in court that wednesday) he put him down twice, after that he completely schooled donaire and had him running for his life, here came adbeko the african warrior, none stop punching machine, what happened? he got hit once and got on his bike for the rest of the fight, in order to have a fight you need a willing partner, just because arum was lowballing GR it doesn't mean is true, the guy has only 13 pro fights and have the division running scared, where are the zarates, gomez, cruz of the world?

I guess you missed the part where i said he has great skills. Abdeko was a horrible fight that Rigo could of ended in style.

So I'd say plenty of people care. How many showed up for Rigo-Donaire?
IDK, but i said is okay if Frampton just want to be Northern ireland best ever fighter, athlete or whatever...

                  • Who could blame the guy if he thinks it's a guaranteed loss and brings no money at the same time? I don't know what's so complicated about that. Like they always say, "boxing is business."
