Well . . . first of all . . . there is this thing in sports . . . it is called "greatness" and some of the also-rans and paper champions in the annals of the sweet science have aspired for it but few have achieved it. I agree that the fight that makes most sense is the Scott Quigg fight and that is clearly the big fight they want. But should he defeat Quigg and should Rigo defeat LSC then I would argue that "greatness" would dictate a superfight between the two remaining titleholders at 122lbs. Money wouldn't be an issue then and the fight could easily be accommodated in Ireland, homeland of Gary Hyde - Rigo's manager.

I agree, mate. If that scenario plays out and Frampton's people still say no to Rigo, then he should definitely be criticised.

Right now though, the fight isn't worth doing from a commercial sense. This should be a Super Fight but no one would give a **** about it if it happened right now.
