They're not fighting to the death or anything quit being dramatic. They fought until one couldn't continue, big deal. It's not like they were forced to do it.

I've sparred several times overtime because of bad blood and it's not like we continue hitting someone even after they calls it quits.

did floyd mayweather get in your face and degrade you after you'd clearly had enough?

this wasn't professional prizefighting. i don't know why people keep coming up with posts like yours and acting like it is a sound argument.

rahman's son was an 18 year old kid, and an amateur.

And with the amount of pressure there to NOT quit in front of 50 screaming people, and the pressure to NOT quit directly in front of Floyd Mayweather Jr. It might as well be fight til concussed... Even if they wanted to stop they wouldnt because of the peer pressure in that room... it was astronomical peer pressure.
You guys are fans of the wrong sport.

Let's see we cheer for someone to beat the crap out of the other one who is in front of hundreds or thousands of people, if they quit, they're called cowards and miss an opportunity to get a bigger fight. I've yet to see you complain about that major health risk there.

Even if they were pressured to look good in front of Floyd, it's the same concept as an actual fight. Pro boxers always need to impress their boss( or future boss). I imagine Floyd will now recognize that one Brit after this thus his investment payed off.

You mean an 18 year old adult? This was on the US right? Have you ever been on a boxing gym that has any pros?

I've gone a few times to Julian Magadaleno gym in guadalajara mexico to get some sparring with dudes from there and if one of us amateurs began to act tough towards a pro the same thing would happen. People have to know their place on the real world.

Floyd is consistent with his taunting in that he has constantly been seen mocking his sparring partners pre-sparring, during the sparring session, and post sparring. When he sees blood, he starts taunting his sparring partner even more. Why are you so surprised?

if you're an actual adult, you see an 18 year old as a kid. unless you're immature.

very few 18 year old males are fully developed physically. none of them are fully developed mentally.

rahman's freaking mother was there. he probably lives with her. he's a kid.

and yes, there were a few pros at my gym. there were even more pros at the mma gym i used in college.

i also had media credentials for several years, and have been invited to plenty of gyms and media workouts to watch pros train or spar. some good ones, too. you've seen these guys on HBO, showtime, and ESPN.

the "sparring" you saw in the showtime special is not boxing. that's not how people train. if you're at a gym, and the coaches are sending you out to spar like that, you need to find another gym.

                • I found it trashy, and ******. But then looks around the gym, and that shouldn't suprise you.

With tht being said, I found it effective, and I did not did it disgusting.

You got, some loud mouth lady who has probably never even wore a boxing glove, yelling Ebonic trash and annoying everyone in her path.

But yeah, I don't like being around nonsense like that for too long.

None of that, is what that is.

I'm well aware of the health risk in the sport of boxing... the health risk here is astronomically higher here.... beating the living **** out of each other and cheered and pressured to do so, for 30 minutes straight without stopping and the only way the fight gets stopped is if one of the fighters quit on his own.

The only ref in the ring here, wasn't looking out for health or safety but to cheer on the beating, and then mock the loser in front of everyone.
What do you base this on? Your opinion? State facts man.

These two are athletes, they were conditioned to go to such extremes. Try going 2 rounds see if you can do much more even if you're pressured to do it.

These guys stopped at their limit, there are days on some pro's career where they will do 15 round sessions. You have no clue how this 30 min sparring went. You can only speculate that they "beat the living **** out of each other" for the entirety of the session.

You should've used your "credentials" to witness the whole session before you begin to state such things as the bolded parts. How long was the younger Rahmna's segment? A minute long at most? Give me a break.

Go to any real gym with your credentials and see what happens when a dude spars a guy who's at a different level. It happens a lot, that's how you learn you're not there yet. It's happened to everyone.

This isn't new and if you have really had media credentials for "several years" you'd know this isn't new to boxing.
