As for Broner's defense, he's not a great defensive fighter. But he's not a bad one either. I think he gets himself in trouble because he thinks he's better defensively than he is. But I think he's trying to adapt his style to the strengths he has, not the ones he wants.
As for he and Lucas, its an interesting fight. I favor Lucas because I think AB is a lil chinny. Watching him last night, Author Abraham came to mind. As a middleweight, he was bigger and stronger than everyone he faced and broke them down over the course of the fight. But when he moved up, that disappeared. The same type things are happening to AB north of lightweight.
