Broner vs. Matthysse should be next. Lucas wants a rematch with Garcia but I think people would rather Herrera get that first.

Among Broner's flaws that's already been brought up is the fact he still tends to fade in the later rounds. He may have good handspeed and I admit, he's also pretty accurate too but without enough power, good defense, and good stamina, I can't see him beating a harder-hitting, better conditioned Matthysse.

What the fcuk is if it is not for Matthyse's power, isn't power part of some fighter's attribute? When Broner was knocking out those midgets, weren't u in awe of his power? You just keep sounding dumber and dumber by the minute. It is a laughable mismatch, the same way you called Broner -Maidana a mismatch, a KO for Broner is exactly what you said but we see how ****** your dum.b.ass looked. You clowns gets swayed by this whole ******/flashy movement that you couldn't see that Broner hasn't fought anyone of note. Then what is this crap about mental lapse, up on the card...blah, blah, blah..sounds ******ed already. Why don't you pick him already? For your information, Broner gets brutally KO'ed whenever he fights Matthyse (which by the way isn't happening) and I haven't used those exact words since Taylor - Pavlik. If I wasn't sure before, I am 100% certain after watching him tonight. No mental lapse or none of that rubbish you try to come up with, he get beat from pillar to post starting from round 2 till he gets brutally KO'ed.
The arrogance of this little imp. ****** ass, cum. These words do not belong in here. Go posts in some men's mag where you belong. Maybe you are one of those who said that Matt will brutally KO Garcia. Just replace the name Garcia with Broner and we have the Matt will KO Garcia posts all over again.

Off topic, how to you think Matt will perform against Maidana? Broner was able to withstand these vicious KDs and fought till the 12th. Forget your ****** cums for a sec. In your opinion, can Matt do the same?

Broner may have won himself round of the year as well as k.o. of the year with this performance.

He also gets caught most at the end of wide, looping punches. Most of the yime due to backing straight up with his hands down.
If Broner decides to fight Matthysse on the inside he's dead... His defence hasn't improved at all, he still gets caught with unnecessary punches.

His only chance to win is to fight Matthysse on the outside.. But his jab is not good enough to keep Lucas away from him, not to mention his footwork is ****.

He's got the heart and hand speed, I give him that.

Other than that, he's got nothing. If Broner fights Matthysse he's doomed

And you have to commend him for wanting to fight the best. He's the antithesis of Quillin - he has a warrior spirit. Problem is, he has the same guy guiding his career as Quillin.

And honestly, Lucas would wreck him.
You do know Haymon is lucas adviser aswell right?

AB has grown on me a bit lately...

I have to admit I find him funny now, where I used to find him really annoying.

Since Maidana whacked him silly I believe AB now knows his place, he is a 'B' level fighter and an 'A' level clown / entertainer.

He adds a bit of ****e to any card with his goofiness and antics.

He will lose again, and when he does people will probably love him more.

Losing to Maidana was probably the best thing to happen to AB, you know?

Broner / Mattheyse - that's a tear up, right there.

Fight week was what it was, but Broner handled himself with class on Saturday night. I thought his ring walk perfectly captured the spirit of his hometown faithful, and the fight was terrific throughout. Love him or hate him, Broner contributes to whatever popularity the US boxing scene can boast these days.

Not ready to sign off on matts beating Broner just yet. Judah gave Matts a close fight and I think Broner has more to bring to the table than Zab, in defense and heart. Both have good offense, but Maidana has said Broner is physically quite strong... Matts won't be able to just walk in on him without worrying about what's coming back he's a smaller guy than Maidana when he was able to employ those tactics on Broner.

Overall, I thought Broner fought a very decent fight. I think his team was attempting to add a few wrinkles in his game by having him move more in order to work on his speed and defense and less on his punching power and offense. In addition, outside of being occasionally out worked by Taylor for many stretches in the bout, I thought he displayed some of the best boxing skills fighting off the back foot that I have ever seen.

Also, I believe that Broner's team are attempting to mold him into a well rounded fighter by implementing a more boxing oriented strategy with constant jabs, lower body movement with combination punching and less of the usual flat-footed slugger we were all accustomed to seeing, who liked to settle down on his punches for power by standing directly in front of his opponents and walking them down in the process.

As he moves up in weight, Broner is going to have to continue to make some major adjustments to his style because of his overall lack of size and firepower to compete with the naturally larger and stronger opponents in the higher weight classes; Especially those above 135 lbs. I'm expecting Adrien to evolve into more of a boxer/puncher first as opposed to the former flat-footed slugger he once was. It's the only chance he has in defeating huge sluggers like Lucas Matthysse and Marcos Maidana.
