That doesn't answer the question. This is specific to the glove selection. All A-sides in the equation have some level of control or power.
I'm asking the question specifically about the glove selection and whether he is far more picky when it comes to punchers
Being overly vague or general and deliberately obtuse are just your other methods of deflecting.
Does he make it a bigger issue when the guy is a puncher? Or did he have nothing to do with any of the selections? That's the question I'm asking here.
Now you are changing the question after I answered it.
I don't know if he is "more picky". How can any of us answer since we truly don't know if he ever has selected gloves before-even though I'm sure he has. That's why I gave a best guess.
It could be age-it could be a change he's made post Mosley since he almost got KTFO.

I have never changed the question, it's quite clear from the OP what the question is. You've spent almost an hour trying to deflect, so maybe you forgot.
I don't know either so I asked it. I wanted people's thoughts on why he might do this. Again....very clear from the OP.
If you have a theory or thoughts on the original post, please feel free to offer them.
He questioned whether or not any other fighter is examined to this degree? And I replied that of course not! And that when Lennox Lewis tweeted the following, a lot of people were quiet.
Floyd is by far not the only boxer to choose gloves. The only difference is he did his at the last minute. You can complain about him doing it at the last minute, but other than that, this subject is nothing new. And you are literally beating a dead horse. You were just complaining about this subject with Floyd back in July.

Thanks for your input
It's about his glove selection process in all of his fights. Does he make it a bigger issue when the guy is a puncher? Or did he have nothing to do with any of the selections? That's the question I'm asking here

Like I said, you are switching the question after I answered it.
I noticed you skipped the post where I disproved your "your obsessed/ attacking me" crap.
Man one tiny question, not mentioning you, and you go off.

Just did a bit of Google image research since the topic of Mayweather's choice of gloves against Maidana is hot right now. I noticed a bit of a potential pattern.
Does Floyd tend to choose his opponent's gloves when he considers them to be a puncher?
Here's the opening post again for you, Dunn. The question is very clear.
I think it's all a mental thing tbh..Gloves are Gloves..If you have power it will be evident in the fight..Yet Mayweather demand to make a power guy wear certain gloves may have an effect on that fighter mentally..It's something stars of this sport get to do tbh..I look at it more as mind games..The great SRL made all this noise about Money and Hagler was so caught up about that, that SRL team was able to slip in a giant size ring in the contract..Just mind games and strategies, making Maidana feel as if he has a bigger hill to climb..
