Against Jarvis,Essett and Giminez he looked almost unbeatable,he easily won every round of those three fights. He did well against former IBF champ Lindell Holmes, and almost took Ray Closes head off with that uppercut at the end(Close beat Dariusz Michalczewski and Fabrice Tiozzo before turning pro). The Henry Wharton fight was breathtaking,a sizzling display from Chris that night. Also take into account Eubank actually going to opponents backyards and recieving terrible abuse from fans(Denys Cronin,Graciano Rocchigiani,Ray Close II,Steve Collins I) but clearly beating their boy each time.

Roy Jones junior would be next on my list.
Hey, I remember the Dennis Cronin fight I remember that was supposed to be a British title eliminator with the winner to fight Sammy Storey in Belfast. Cronin had a great physique, but Eubank embarassed him so badly it was ridiculous. Eubank deserves credit for keeping focus because he was spat at, had coins thrown at him, had Welsh thugs calling him every name under the sun - but he absorbed that negative energy and unleashed it on poor old Cronin.

Sven Ottke got gift decisions against Starie, Brewer and Mitchell - see what Calzaghe did to those same fighters.

Eubank. Always remember him growing up as being the best, followed by RJJ, Benn and Calzaghe

Eubank was Simply The Best - at his best.

BUT, he was never at his best often enough I mean he'd look unbeatable for four or five rounds but then get sloppy and lazy and lose round after round, etc. Or sometimes he'd under-estimate his opponent and you'd be shaking your head at how poor he looked compared to how he looked at his best.

Didnt Roy say that Eubank was the one guy who could of beaten him? I think Eubank would of given him fits, but maybe Jones junior winning in the end.

Eubank was all wrong for Toney, and would of boxed rings around him to pick up an comfortable decision. Although Toney I believe would of beaten Benn at close quarters, tough fight for both but nobody beats Toney at close quarters and that includes Nigel!

Where does Calzaghe come into this?
Not quite in the class of Roy Jones junior or a prime Chris Eubank at his best, but right up there with Toney and Benn after last night.

This is like arguing over a parking space two and 1/2 miles from the entrance to the mall. Who friggin cares.
