But if you choose not to come to the US and face the best opposition you wont get the same respect as the guys who do. America is still the mecca of boxing Weebler.
    Let's be clear.

The best HW competition is not in the US, it's in Europe.
The best CW competition is not in the US, it's in Europe.
The best SM competition is not in the US, it's in Europe.

None of the European fighters in these divisions have to come to the United States because the money and interest is in Europe.

The same goes for a number of other divisions.

Even if you want to talk welterweight, Pacquiao fights in Macau, Brook will be fighting in the UK. They never have to go back to the US ever again because they're bigger draws than all the US fighters outside the US (Thurman, Bradley, Guerrero, Rios, Alexander etc) bar the aging Mayweather.

The "competition" follows the money, wherever in the world that may be.

The best SM is American. The best HWT, ok.

CW perfectly illustrates my example. The champions are not noteworthy and the division is seen as very weak.

Manny fought once in Macau (rios) and is scheduled again(algieiri) he made his name here. And these fights are garbage.

I didn't say drawing power-I said best competition. Brook is a great example of what I'm saying.

And the money is still here. Wlad will come for stivernne and wilder. The CW's likely not, and they will continue to be mostly ignored.

Wlad should come up with better excuses when he wants to pull a Tyson Fury Shi*house move and pull out of a fight. Wlad is on so much juice that you could cut his muscle in half and it would fully heal in about 14 hours.

And Wlad will **** on them and Americans will go back to only watching 147 because admitting they were run out of the premier divisions decades ago hurts too much

This. The Pulev hype is getting a bit out of hand now. Yes, he has earned his shot...he isn't much smaller than Wlad...but is he REALLY so different or so much better or more equipped than previous Wlad opponents? Povetkin? I don't think so. The fight is a good one on paper, but I don't personally see anything so exceptional coming from Pulev that Wlad hasn't faced before.

The only time Wlad has pulled out with a bull**** injury excuse was the second time the Chisora fight got cancelled, because they had a breakthrough in negotiations with Haye. And that was well out from the fight date.

Highly doubt Wlad is bull****ting. It's a mandatory and theyre going to have to fight him.

I'm wondering what kind of injury it is. It can be torn because if he tore his bicep, Wlad might be done at this stage of his career and that's more than just a 2 month postponing to recover from. He's probably just ducking Pulev some more...

Not that he wont beat him, but he just really doesn't want to fight this guy at all
