I cannot see that happening to be honest. The WBC will just strip him and have a couple others fight for interim status. How can Golovkin ever be a mandatory unless he gives up the WBA belt?

      It is. But I don't give a **** as long as he's Cotto's mando.

That's the part I care about.

I would really like to see that happen, I just have my doubts. It would be a good thing leading to a unified champion if other org belt holders could get a mandatory for other belts. I would not hate those interim belts nearly as much

I don't even see how that's possible with him already being a champion. Seems ridiculous to be a mando while you have a belt

I don't blame GGG for anything going on in the middleweight division. My beef is a simple one. He's not worried about cleaning out 60 when it comes to Floyd. He's not concerned with cleaning out 60 when it comes to ChaveZ Jr. Cleaning up/unifying only becomes the priority when Ward's name comes up. That just doesn't make sense to me.

There's a lot of gray area in most boxing related subjects. Its very common for ten people's opinions are totally different on a given subject. That's what makes the sport fun not only to watch, but to debate. What kills me about these clowns on here is that they don't even try to be objective or impartial. Just about every subject is gonna have positives and negatives. And most people, myself included highlight the positives for their favs and negatives gor the guys they don't like. What annoys me is the blatant hypocrisy. There's no way to legitimately defend Manny not wanting to subject himself to strict testing, yet they did. There's no way to legitimately defend GGG being willing to fight anybody from 54-68 not named Ward, yet they do. Some still b1tch-n-moan about Floyd "ducking" Margarito to fight Baldomir, who was the then lineal champ. Yet these same ass clowns were ready to riot when Cotto told GGG to go fmuck himself. How did the lineal title go ftom irrelevsnt in 2006 to the most prized trinket in boxing now? When you fimd out, let me know.

That's right, I forgot. Sounds similar to Margarito back in the day. He was the most feared man in boxing. Yet, Paul Williams had to sue his ass to get him in the ring.
