can't really complain about this fight. GGG just isn't going to get quality opponents to fight him for the pittance HBO is trying to shell out.

At what point does GGG look at the money being made by Quillin and have his management say something to HBO?

Quillin has been doing OK for some time, this last check I agree with you.

That said, fighters see what other guys are making and expect same, especially if they are headlining cards and this guy is a semi main eventer.

Well GGG just got a pay boost from 400K to 750K, and with as often as he fights he probably is not complaining. 750K is all he deserves for now.

Quillin just won a lottery ticket of 1.5 million. He will not see that again unless he defends against Canelo.

Watch how Rubio transforms from the bum Cotto was gonna fight to an ATG between now and the fight.

You can't say that for sure. Cotto and Floyd he surely would and Danny Jacobs or Kirkland are fights Roc might also over bid on.

I'm not saying Quillin is a star or anything. I'm just saying if you manage GGG and see a guy you feel is inferior in terms of skill and drawing power than its hard to watch him make as much or more.

Naw homie, its a new game. When cotto was going to fight him-posters formed their opinions of Rubio based on who Rubio lost to and how they felt he looked. Once he signed to fight GGG-all that matters is his #1 ranking.

There's some degree of ducking going on that's keeping GGG on the outside looking in withinthe mmiddleweight division. But GGG has shown a willingness to step outside of his division, especially with smaller guys. But his team is extremely selective about which bigger guys he's willing to fight. And for those that aren't diehard fans of his, that doesn't pass the smell test.
