Just about every subject is gonna have positives and negatives. And most people, myself included highlight the positives for their favs and negatives gor the guys they don't like. What annoys me is the blatant hypocrisy. There's no way to legitimately defend Manny not wanting to subject himself to strict testing, yet they did. There's no way to legitimately defend GGG being willing to fight anybody from 54-68 not named Ward, yet they do. Some still b1tch-n-moan about Floyd "ducking" Margarito to fight Baldomir, who was the then lineal champ. Yet these same ass clowns were ready to riot when Cotto told GGG to go fmuck himself. How did the lineal title go ftom irrelevsnt in 2006 to the most prized trinket in boxing now? When you fimd out, let me know.
Cotto has how many fights at 160? oh wait he only weighed in at 155 vs Martinez... give me a dam break.

Kermit Cintron wasn't scared of him either.. he fought him twice.. even after saying he had never been hit so hard before (those bricks)....

Uh think you have it wrong. Margarito had to sue Bob Arum in order to fight Paul Williams. Arum didn't want Margarito fighting Williams because he was trying to set up the Cotto fight.

I thought a belt holder couldn't be the mandatory for another belt? I don't get how Golovkin could even win that interim title.

I hope I'm wrong and he can. At least make Cotto drop that **** if he doesn't want to defend it.

Think of the different belts as being independent from one another. Like how Froch holds both the IBF & WBA regular belt.

Once Golovkin becomes the WBC champ, Cotto either vacates or the WBC repeats the Sergio Martinez/Julio Chavez situation where they have two champs, allowing Cotto to fight Alvarez setting up the winner (I assume there'll be a Cotto/Alvarez rematch in the fall) to face Golovkin, who by then will also beat Soliman for the IBF belt. All roads will finally lead to Golovkin.

I thought Paul Williams was going to sue Antonio Margarito to get the re-match?

I don't mind counter programming. But what about having a fight in the afternoon. Every fight doesn't have to be on during primetime. I like watching those fights that air from England or the Klitchko fights that come on at 2 in the afternoon.

It's not gonna happen and they are never gonna make Cotto drop his title. Floyd, Manny, Cotto Canelo. Those guys will never have to worry about dropping titles.

I think Cotto can & will drop his belt is he doesn't plan on fighting at 160 consistently.
