What does Margarito walk around at?

Margarito's problem was he was a face first pressure fighter brawler. He lacked the skill to move up in weight and do anything substantial.

He relied on being a big WW that wore smaller fighters down. You bring in Mike Tyson because it's really easy to take an extreme example and compare it to something small in nature.

Had Margarito had the skill, he could've put on at least 20 lbs the right way and at least fought at 168-175 if he wanted, but again he lacked the skill.

Mike Tyson was close to 200 lbs at 13. I don't know why you guys take extreme examples and go overboard with the comparisons.

GGG actually has the skill here to put on solid weight, if he wanted, and do something with it when he got to whichever weight class he desired.

It's just his fans don't want to see him lose, so of course they're reluctant to see him do anything outside of his comfort zone. I could really care less.

So just a troll thread then? Because you obviously didn't answer my question. Just as I suspected. Or are you just afraid because people are calling for Mayweather to fight him, possibly at 154 or a catchweight?

He's taller at 5'8" (looks taller than that) and has a longer reach than Qawi, Langford and Duran.

Why can't he at least fight a middleweight?
Floyd has moved up 5 divisions and 24 pounds..why are people defensive about GGG moving up 1 divisions and 8 pounds?

That's kinda what we've got to find out. Golovkin has strolled through a MW division that was actually considered fairly strong as little as a year or 18 months ago.

When the MW top 10 was like

            Maravilla
            JCC Jr
            Sturm
            GGG
            Quillin
            Geale
            Macklin
            Murray
            N'Jikam
            Rubio

It was actually considered one of the stronger divisions in the sport.

Maravilla loses to Cotto (and looks weak against Murray), Jr goes up to 168 and GGG annihilates a couple of the other names and it's suddenly described as one of the weakest divisions. I know boxing fans are known for being fickle, but hell?

Andre Ward could well beat Golovkin, and based simply on resume surely would, but until we've seen GGG fight a quality SMW there's simply no realistic way of making a comparison.

I will be very happy if the Froch - GGG poll results in a solid offer however. Very, very, happy.

Floyd started his pro career at 19. GGG started his at 25. What part of that is hard to understand. 130 to 147 is only 17 pounds for 4 divisions.

Mw to SMW alone is 8 pounds.

He could grab a strap at 154 and 168. Dont think he would have beat Ward but hes not getting past Goosen. I dont think he's a threat at 175.

Do white boxers doing well and being well-liked really bother you that much, Larry?
