Good point! There's no where to run.

Although, I bet Hryunov would give Jacobs a very big payday to take the fight in Russia... he might want to consider that

After the huge amount wlad got for povetkin, I'm surprised more Russian promoters haven't made huge bids to make fights there to give guys the home ring advantage.

I don't worry about him cutting it there. He is a 160lb fighter who has 3 fights at 168 IMO-Chavez, Ward and Froch, froch to get him in the door, ward for supremacy, chavez for the dough.

Other than that his career is at 160 like Hagler.
I forgot about him too. What's up with him? He's the WBO JMW champ, undefeated, yet hasn't fought any big fights yet. He wants Alvarez. Let's see if Canelo faces him this fall. Is he being ducked?

I don't see an American fighter boosting his career with a fight in Russia, unless it's heavily co-promoted by an American promoter. The Russians who want to make a name for themselves come here to live and fight.

GG needs to fight the best opponent possible. I don't care if it's at 154 or 175. The defenses against no hopers are getting old.

Dude that check wlad got was serious, much more than usual. If a Russian wants to overpay-you have to take it.
