I can actually see him alternating between weight classes for those big fights, because I don't see in the short term how a quillin/cotto/canelo fight-the 3 he should be getting-materialize.

Besides-do we really need another highly skilled fighter fighting weak fights? I like skills more than just KO's so I think its a shame that ward, jmm, rigo and now GGG can't get the fights that will allow them to display those skills.
He should consider it, imo he's way above everyone at 160 (and below). No one's trying to watch 3 rounders (unless he's fighting one every month or something).

Not sure what the lol is about here.

Dude that check wlad got was serious, much more than usual. If a Russian wants to overpay-you have to take it.
That was Wlad. What American has gotten such a payday offer in Russia? What American champion would give up home advantage to fight in Russia?

I understand. I''m just suggesting that if it happens to take the fight in Russia if the money they offer is ridiculous.

GGG will fight the best opponent he can get to who will agree to fight him and he will score another KO. He is the true middleweight champ to me and it's not his fault most of the other top middleweights refuse to fight him.

Because I don't think quillin is one of the most skilled fighters in the world.
That's just because at this point we all have to admit that Golovkin is the real deal, and that he is better than Garcia, and most of the other champions as far as potential goes. (no, not resume. yet.)

Agree on potential, but danny has potential and resume. Can't just disregard it.

Adama had no chance because he is not that good a fighter. same as caparello, same as salka.

Adama was a fight that didn't air on HBO, because it was a mismatch and and stay-busy fight (although it STILL wasn't nearly as bad) and Golovkin got paid peanuts.

Garcias fight aired on prime time Showtime, and he got paid $600,000

That is the difference, and once again... it simply cannot be ignored. The situations aren't even comparable.

Showtime's programming decision is not a variable I use to evaluate the quality of a fight. Neither is fighter's purse. why? because they have no bearing on the outcome of a fight.

No matter how true the ancillary things you post are-adama, caparello and salka had the same chance to win. None. that makes them even.

king you are in essence arguing a significant difference between 2x3, 7-1, 4+2, and 12/2 because they use a different mathematic operator when they all equal 6.

I mean the journeys are slightly different, the destination the same.

Not quite. Salka had no chance because he was fighting a superior talent at a weight he had no business fighting at. Adama and Caparello at least were fighting in the right weight class. And they were rejected as a worthy title challenger by the organizations that make money off title fights.
