Golovkin is still making a name for himself. It's not like big name fighters are lining up to fight him. Sure, Ward talked some smack, but he's not a big enough star to make a big fight. And he's a SMW. With his vendetta against his promoter, he's fading from boxing existence. Ward desperately needs a fight, any fight.

True but you know HBO isn't going to put their best fighter in with their best "**** for the buck" fighter right now. HBO doesn't want the fight.

GGG is in a difficult position. I think he can find a way out of it. Its going to take a bold move. At 32 he can't keep complaining about not getting the fights he wants-he may have to take a fight he doesn't want in order to make a leap.

Which is exactly what HBO wants to happen with the west coast move. Vanes is a JMW who would be moving up. Isn't particularly fast. Can be fit in their budget. Has been on HBO before.

If GGG fights in SoCal, Mora is probably the best fit as an opponent. Unless Rubio believes that Cotto will never fight him anyway.

That's a decent match-up. There isn't much film on Chudinov though, seems sturdy but who knows how he'll handle Jacob's power.
