Might have been clever if he wasn't so desperate for attention that he had to tweet it. Pretty weak when you have to tell everyone that you said something funny in a private conversation.
And what makes this kid even more of an idiot, he's acting like Showtime is asking for a free handout. They were going to offer to fly him to the fight. Does this bum "artist" even know how much Mayhem tickets cost? What an idiot.
Hows he an idiot? By the look of it he's a professional artist and should be paid properly for his work. What if he doesn't like boxing? How is being flown out to Vegas going to help his bank balance? There's a problem when a huge organisation such as Showtime is crowdsourcing for work instead of paying the right ppl with the right skills to do it.
You will argue that this work would be good exposure but, he's probably gunna get more pr by telling Showtime to f-off (as this thread proves).
Never heard of this Dan dude but the first impression is like he's a close friend of mine ....wicked reply....gonna see if I can find some of his work now, just gained a fan!!
The Davids of the world ain't afraid to go at The Goliaths....good ish Dan lol
Everyone's assuming this guys a hardcore boxing fan for some reason. I highly doubt he spends his free time on this website supporting TMT while rocking the gear.
He's done boxing work before, it's on his site. Regardless of what people feel about his position on getting paid, he just pissed away a chance to meet some real heavyweights in the media/film industry by winning.
Seems like he probably felt he might not win, so this was his way of backing out by trying to look cool.
