what ever happens, happens , but Ward best get fighting 2 pay the legal bills, they're not doing it 4 free...1 thing about Goosen, VG trainer, reminds me , in the corner, of his calm manner & expertis, of Dan Birmingham, the #1 MOST under rated trainer today...

Ward suffering from that Kessler 2008-09 syndrome (when he had to fight tooth and nail to get rid of Mogens Palle). :conf3:
I don't particularly like watching Ward's ringwork, and I agree with those who say he's a primadonna inflating his popularity, but it's a damn shame to see such a supremely talented fighter go to waste like this. Him at 175 would really shake things up right now.

i've always liked what i've seen and read about the goosen brothers.
but if what ward says ends up true this will send a signal to all the other promoters who all stiil run things the old fashion way.
most boxers who are taken advantage this way stay quiet and wouldnt think of rocking the boat.

It’s easy to diss Ward, but money grabbing promoters are the ones ruining the game with hideous contracts that should be illegal. Arum/Chavez Jr is another good example. Promoters are getting very fat on the spoils without delivering the fights we want to see.

Just wish both parties could resolve this because the way this is going both sides lose. I think a buy out would be benifit both don't know if possible.
True Wards wasting his "prime " as far as athleticism but I view Ward the same way I view Hopkins/ Mayweather. All of them are dedicated to their sport, live clean lives outside of the ring and havent taken too much damage inside of it.
I believe that Ward could fight at a elite level for many years once this issue resolved that's why I think he's so patient and willing to
Just my take

Don't put all the blame on the promoters. Some of these fighters out there can be difficult also. They see Floyd and Manny's purses and their eyes light up and then they start thinking they are worth more than they actually are. The world is about supply and demand. Some fighters are in more demand than others.
