I never thought I would lime Ward, but after the Super 6, I realized that he was actually a down to earth person. I hope he gets things taking care of, so he can get back into the right. His clock is ticking and he hasn't been fighting.

Let's say you're right: Ward's a b*tch. So? Rightly or wrongly he's still the main dude at Super-Middle. I don't like him much either... he's dull as fhuck. But, I want to see him get dismantled in the ring, not benchwarm because some promoter did a number on him. I want to see fighters fight, not argue like little girls. There are some greedy bstards in this game!

Why doesnt he just pray and let "God" handle it? Cant stand these people that give "God" praise for everything they earn then when things arent going their way "God" gets off scott free

The contract should facilitate an EASY split - a way to become uninvolved rather than a way for a promoter to own a fighter. At the point where a fighter is unable to fight, or legal proceedings are necessary, the contract has failed.
You get a promoter like Arum, who can put millions into building up a fighters career from scratch, only to see them say adios when once he gets them to the top? It does not work that way. It costs money to build a star

Of course it does. I totally agree. that's why the contract should have sufficient time-restricted clauses that benefit both sides equally to account for that. The problem is that many promoters use that very argument to claim rights more or less in perpetuity, which is where the problems occur.

It's about enforcing the laws and acts.

It's legal ethics. Why have laws in name only when they're not enforced? Who would take them that serious if there's no penalty. Act means act!

Obviously his promoter isn't one of them because he actually won the case already. Ward simply under no circumstance cannot handle being told that he is wrong, it really is as simple as that. And seriously what about Wards responsibility in all this? Kind of hard to promote a guy who refuses to move up in weight, refuses to leave his hometown and refuses to even 50/50 money against any opponent.

And again, that is Ward's fault and no one elses. No one had a gun to his head when he signed the contract, if it was a bad deal it is no ones fault but his own for taking it. A co-worker asked my advice about buying a car mainly whether to go with a person or go to a dealer. I said always go with the dealer because they have a reputation to uphold, and if something is wrong with the car you can do something about it or get a warranty etc... They chose to buy one from some guy just selling his car for about $3,000 an older civic, he did this to avoid a car payment. He's put another 3k in to that car and it still doesn't work right. He got ****ed but its no ones fault but his own just like Andre Ward, who doesn't even have a bad deal. He made almost 4 times as much as GGG did in their last fights and he is still not satisfied, **** this guy.
