Kessler vs Ward 2 in Copenhagen would be huge,with Danish ppv too I believe Ward wants it,he wants the money fights,he also wants to be free of his contract ! Now I don't know the details and frankly I don't care,but you can't knock him for wanting the big paying fights.

Andre has obviously seen signs of wear and tear on Mikkel,couped with the fact Mikkel hasnt fought in 18 months he appears to relented on his stance to travel.its win win for him,he silences detractors saying he won't travel,and a solid win over Mikkel will be paraded as a top win over one of the divisions higher echelon fighters.he may also want to get there before GGG does.

He has expressed GGG had better stop using his name unless they intent to face him,Team GGG have now gone somewhat quiet for six months ! What does that tell you.Ward would take that fight in a blink.

Two thoughts

Ward is doing this himself. He thinks he should be some giant star making 20 million per fight. He seems to be the most difficult and stubborn people in the sport.

The second thought is if he does get his way out of the contract, what promoter in their right mind would want to work with him now?
