Here's the thing, and it's not a nice prediction: Of course Wladimir won't fight Briggs because he's obviously shot to shit and nowhere near ranked. But, all it takes is one of the sanctioning bodies to magically install Briggs as a challenger and suddenly we've got yet another shitty, meaningless HW title fight.
